My "Managing Your Credit" workshop went off quite well. There were many lively discussions and the participation from the group was great. Navajo housing Authority had sent a couple of mortgage specialists who really contributed to the training and kept me on my toes (honestly, what else can you expect from NHA, anyhow ;-) ).
I was a bit afraid that I wouldn't have enough content for the full four hours scheduled. But the timing was a godsend. One thing I hope that I brought home was to remember what ramifications filling out a credit application can mean to your credit rating, long after the two-liter of soda pop is gone. It is just not worth it.
In the future, I would like to have my workshops on the internet. I am not sure of the format yet. I hope to have that up during the spring or summer schedules.
